Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts
The Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts (FCCA)
is a non profit art gallery and learning center. Juried art
exhibits change monthly and rotate between national
themed exhibits and regional exhibits that show work
from artists in the DC, Maryland and Virginia areas.
The gallery routinely has entries from artists nationally
in the theme shows and occasionally have international
art submissions.
Volunteer docents staff the welcome desk throughout
the month. Volunteers also oversee the entire organization
of the gallery, including creation of all publications,
organization oversight, and hospitality at each First Friday
opening throughout the year. Membership in the gallery
is very affordable, is open to everyone, and offers many
benefits such as discounts on art purchases, entry fees for
submission of work, and on class fees and bus trips.
A wide variety of art classes are offered throughout the
year, are nominally priced, and taught by award-winning
artists in the area.
